Buses

We are safely in! Thanks for all your prayers! Had a couple of snags in Port, but worked through it all. We made the fastest time I have ever seen getting to St. Marc. A 60 passenger bus whipped us up through the Haiti countryside double time! It was awesome. However, I don't think anyone on the bus will ever find it within themselves to accuse anyone of being a bad driver after that ride! LOL In this country, and on these roads, size does matter! We stopped over at a private hospital for a restroom brake, and rolled into town shortly after 7:30. We organized for a couple of hours, and now we are off to bed. Keep Kelly in your prayers, he is fighting a cold. Other than that, we are fine. Off to bed, and off to cool down, did I mention it is hot here? Love to all and many blessings. More news tomorrow, along with some pics.

Kelly, come on, please, a cold. You know what my football coach always told me rub some dirt on it!!! And guess what, if that didn't work than he would just start calling me by my sister's name. So, here it goes; Come on Crystal its just a cold. Love you all take and tell everyone else I said hi and love them. (I want to be right there with you guys right now and I'm actually really jealous of you guys).

Blessings from Miamisburg, Ohio!

I pray the Lord will give you all eyes to see and ears to hear. That you will remember at all times that Jesus is near and that our God never rests and he offers his all for us and those who places in our path. As David Crowder writes and sings, " Oh happiness, there's grace, enough for us and and the whole human race. Friend or foe, stranger or kin. All who come, begin again. Hard or frail, rich or poor, all in need, need fear no more. Such a thing to give away......" So give away!!!

Lynn G - Christy is doing great and sends her love.

Oh my goodness! Hi guys! Wow, I'm so happy you are all there safely. I miss you guys already! Here are my messages... :]

Mama,

AH! You are in Haiti!! I bet you are flipping out! I'm flipping out! I'm so truly proud of you. I can NOT wait to hear all your stories and see your millions of pictures! Lol! So, Mama Kunkel called today to check on us and informed us that if we needed anything at all she would come right on up to us. Haha! It was very, very sweet and made me happy. And we have been talking to Papa a lot. He is good, but oh man he misses you <3. And Gramma is GREAT! She's keeping us laughing. :] Yesterday morning I wasn't waking up so she marched into my room with a spray bottle! I can’t tell you how very much I love you! I have been collecting your hugs that you sent up to the moon. :]

Krystle,

Oh my goodness, girl! I miss you so much and I'm so proud of you and glad that you are in Haiti surely spreading smiles! Yesterday we went to the library with Grandma, Stevie, & Whit (stevie had to meet with his tutor). I only got two books but I can't wait for you to see them! One of them is about this girl that uncovers this big family secret and only true love can save her. Ok so maybe it's cliche, but I can't get enough of it! Hehe! Oh and I think you should know that I learned the other day that Gramma has K-Mart in her emergency contact list (she read the whole list off to us). LOL! I LOVE her!

Kelly,

Your show IS being recorded! Gramma didn't want to drive all the way out to the house but I made sure Stevie has it recording at his house. If for some reason we end up going out to your house still, I will get it recording there too. :] I miss you bunches! I hope the love-o-meter is spiking with this note. Haha! No virtual slaps, only hugs. I'm saving all the slapping for when you get back. ;] I love you and I'm really praying hard for you about your cold!

Everyone else, I love you guys all so much!! I'm praying hard for you and I really can't wait to hear all the amazing things you have to tell me when you get back! I know it's a life-changing experience and I can't wait to mooch what I can off all the wonderful things you guys have learned. SOOOO many hugs and kisses! Especially for mommy. :] You are all amazing, wonderful, brave, and strong people. If I were Haiti... I would want all of you to be the people coming to me. LOVE and HUGS!
