Power

Funny thing about us. We are a people of weights and balance. Proportions, potential, priorities. Who has the biggest guns, fastest boats, bigger engine, largest pecks. The measure of a mans power is his resolve under fire, his courage through  conflict, his bravery in uncertainity. Do we run, do we hide, stand or sit, cry or cringe. What if we do? What does that really say about us? This trip is about a exibition of a power. A power of choice. This team of great people are exhibiting a demonstration of the power God has given man. The power of choosing. Many times we find out our choices are limited. Many Haitians would choose to leave their county as well. But they can't. They don't have that choice. They are stuck. Stuck so deeply, that for the masses they will never get out. But we can choose to go to them. To exercise our power under God to make a difference. These amazing people that  are making this journey with us this week have fought through adversity, and stubborn odds to go to these people and give them a power of choice. A choice toward love. May their journey be rewarded, and their courage be noted. And may all who support us receive the blessings that come in reaching the unloved, the unwanted, the forgotton, the forsaken. Blessings.

Miss you and love you, Lynn-girl!
Hope no one is suffering from jetlag. You are worlds away, in so many ways, from home right now. I'm praying for you and your group to make a Jesus-impact with the people you minister to there.
Love you, Honey!

WOW, I can always count on you to help me take a step back and look at how blessed I truley am.
I hear from my dad that you all made it to Miami safely and were getting ready to go to Haiti. I am almost in tears because I feel like I am leaving my family in Haiti and they will be looking for me and I wont be there. But I know that God had different plans for me this time.
I hope that God's new chosen people of Haiti are enjoying themselves and taking in the beautiful world that our God has created.
As I write yout his evening I think about my dear sister Krystle(did I spell that right) and how she does not have her bathroom buddy that she can laugh at while she peas on her foot. Good times
Well the moment you all have been waiting for...the joke of the night/day......

Try to explain women
A man dies and goes to Heaven. He gets to meet GOD and asks GOD if he can ask him a few questions.

"Sure," GOD says, "Go right ahead".

"OK," the man says. "Why did you make women so pretty?"

GOD says, "So you would like them."

"OK," the guy says. "But how come you made them so beautiful?"

"So you would LOVE them", GOD replies.

The man ponders a moment and then asks, "But why did you make them such airheads?"

GOD says, "So they would love you!"

There you go love you all,
Autumn

Oh! I forgot to add that me and Gram did get our walk in yesterday. We walked by the water near the library for 30 minutes but I got an extra 15 minutes of walking trying to find her in the library.
Yes, first day together and we lost Grandma! =]
I couldn't find her anywhere so i recruited the rest of the kids(including Whitney who we met at the library.) We went and found Gram pretty quickly after that. Apparently, she had been looking for us too but when she couldn't find us she just sat down with a book near Stevie (who was also at the library with us.) She said she knew that all the girls would go to where Stevie was eventually so she thought that was the best place for her stay...
Then after she played a game of chess with Michael, and i picked out a couple of books we all went back to Gram's house for dinner(Stevie and Whitney came with us!)
Just thought I would tell you all that funny story! =]
Love you all!
